I spawned at the area around Carmi near one of those huge lighthouses. I curiously climbed up one of them hoping to find something. Nothing. I climbed up each on of them and found nothing. I then proceeded to the actual town of Carmi and had a hard time trying to access the town. I found a ladder behind the ship but there were 2 zombies inside it. I killed them and they dropped leather items, swords, healing items, and food. I hastily picked the items up and put on the armor and sorted my food, then climbed out of the boat into the town itself. I found several chests on docks or in tents and crafted some cookies with my wheat and cocoa beans. I met several people at Carmi but they were all players like me scavenging for items to start their journey.
After Carmi, I proceed east of the town and followed the road. As I was walking along the path, I met several zombies and disposed them easily, therefore getting some zombie flesh from them which was excellent because I needed extra food (8 cookies wasn't a lot). I arrived at the town Gueten thinking it was the famous town Romero (I did not know many things about MineZ at this time). I heard that there were lots of chests and health potions in the church in Romero so I checked the ones in Gueten (not even knowing it was Geuten). Inside the church I found 2 chests and they both had about 3-5 health potions each! Happy with the loot I found, I went to raid the rest of the chests in the town. I found a lot of food, and some armor and felt good about my overall status.
Unfortunately, Geuten held a lot of zombies due to the high number of players visiting there and players dying there so I had to fend of several dozen zombies. Taking advantage of the health potions inside the church, I ran outside of the town and ran back into the church to find the chests restocked with health potions. At the moment I had about 11 or 12 health potions and plenty of food having raided the whole town a second time. Feeling like I had good gear to start a long journey, I headed north of Geuten thinking I was heading toward Stonehenge (I knew the names of the places because I had looked at the map). I was walking north on the border of the map when suddenly I hit the east border. Confused, I headed west and stumbled upon Worthington. Not knowing I had hit a good place, I started to loot the area. I found many food chests in the various buildings and after one successful raid, I had about 8 melons slices and about a dozen apples. There was a little tower in the middle of the general area and I climbed it hoping to find something at the top. It was a very simple parkour course to the roof, but it was a deadly fall if one missed the last jump as it was about 10-20 blocks high and there were zombies swarming the grounds. I found a chest on the roof and opened it excitedly.
Inside I found a half used Smite I iron sword, about two-thirds used chain mail chestplate, a cobweb and a bomb/ender pearl. I had just found some good loot! Thinking about the time in Geuten where I stole all the health potions, I ran around outside the town and climbed the same tower for the chest at the top. This time, I found a half used bow, another cobweb, 5 arrows, and a second chain mail chestplate that was also about two-thirds used. I combined the 2 chest pieces in my inventory and it gave me almost new chestplate. I did this method 3 or 4 more times not knowing that it wasn't a good idea to stay in one place too long, so after another successful raid on the town/tower, I was attacked by a hoard of about 6 zombies. And just at that moment, the server started to lag. The zombies were moving very oddly so it was hard to know where they were going to move to. I had a hard time hitting them and they almost killed me. I eventually stopped trying to fight them and ran to Fort Rockwood. I stopped to heal myself and replenish my hunger but then suddenly I was ambushed from behind by the same zombies and was killed at the spot.
