Realm of the Mad God

No, this blog is not just all Minecraft.

Realm of the mad god, or rotmg, or realm, or whatever people call it, is a online mmorpg game, translated, massive multiplayer online role-playing game.
Here is the website where you can play the game: realmofthemadgod.com

The basic idea of the game is to level up different classes, obtain awesome gear and defeat the Mad God Oryx. There are many dungeons where players can complete to obtain rare or "un-tiered" gear. Players also upgrade their characters using stat potions. The main 6 stats are defense, attack, dexterity, speed, wisdom, and vitality. HP and mana can be increased, however, those stats take a lot more effort to upgrade. Pet eggs can be acquired throughout the game which when hatched, can aid the player in many different ways. From healing players to helping the fight, pets are always very useful. By feeding them, pets can be leveled up to be even more efficient and helpful.
For everything the player does, he/she earns fame which is the main source of the leader boards Players are ranked by how much fame their characters obtain upon death. Fame can be used to upgrade pets and feed them.

To watch some good RotMG gameplay, I suggest you check out KalleGaming, a fabulous realm player.

The game is free, but players can chose to spend money to buy gold, which can be used to buy items or upgrade pets.

You can check out the wiki for more details on the game.

Thanks for reading, until next time, bye!

MinePlex

Most of you probably already know what MinePlex is, but unfortunately, I didn't until 2 weeks ago. MinePlex is basically a lot like the Shotbow Network (but they're less sophisticated :3) where they have a bunch of cool mini-games. There is the arcade, where you play a mix of mini-games, there is dominate, a zone-control type of pvp gamemode, Minecart racing, and Super Smash Mobs. I'm pretty sure there are a lot more.

Oh yes, the Mineplex Games. In my opinion, I don't think the MinePlex games are really fun. The chest loot is very randomized, and supply crates are incredibly OP. I once got diamond leggings and a diamond sword from the supply crate, and it allowed me to kill 3 people in a row. The only cool thing is this big freeze-over called the Deep Freeze. Throughout the game, the deep freeze creeps towards the center of the map, killing people who come in contact with it. It's a really cool environmental factor not many servers have.

The whole Network runs on a reward system of gems, which can be used to buy abilities and perks in all the different gamemodes. Gems are earned simple by playing any mini-games and can add up fast as you continuously play the games. An easy way to start off with a lot of gems is to do the Welcome tutorial and the party tutorial. These give you a total of 6000 gems, and all you have to do is right click the villagers at spawn, and sit and wait for your gems. Gems can also be earned by completing the 2 parkours next to the lobby.

I highly suggest you spend some time on MinePlex, the games are really fun and you'll have a good time on there.

Oh yeah, side note, there are a lot of hackers on here, so get your recording software ready while playing.

Until later, bye guys!
